Philip Barton
Managing Partner

Philip Barton is one of our senior commercial law partners. His experience in providing advice to business enterprises spans more than 20 years.

After spending several years in the finance industry, Philip moved to the legal arena. He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1977 with a Bachelor of Laws and was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 1979.

Philip has detailed knowledge of the needs of commercial enterprises, having operated his own business law practice in Melbourne for ten years before joining Anderson Rice. His practice has an emphasis on the following areas:
