Opening of Alexandra Branch Office
Andreson Rice have great pleasure in announcing the opening of their branch office in Alexandra. Mrs Katharina Dimtscheff has joined our firm and as a result of her appointment we have agreed to provide full time legal service to the Alexandra and wider community. Katharina works from our office in Alexandra and has a wealth of knowledge supported by our city practise. We are able to offer a full suite of city based services and facilities including full financial and investment advice. In private practice Katharina Dimtscheff has had extensive experience in property commercial and contractual law, ranging from residential and retail tenancies to planning and environment law, subdivision, and building and construction law. The sale and purchase, leaseback and licensing of large commercial property including Hotels was also a significant part of Katharina's experience.
For a considerable period in the 1980's and 1990's Katharina held statutory appointments including, Chairman of the ABC Promotion Appeals Tribunal, and as a Presiding Member of the Residential Tenancies Tribunal. This was followed by the appointment to the then Victorian AAT as Deputy President which included the Planning Division (formerly the Planning and Environment Tribunal). As Deputy President, Katharina was required to preside in all jurisdictions, including the adjudication on legal issues including Planning and Environmental law, Subdivision and Building and Construction legislation.
Katharina retired from the Tribunal in 2000 and has since then developed a special interest in estate and succession planning including wills, trusts and probate matters which of course draws heavily on her prior experience in the whole gamut of residential and commercial property law. This interest has also brought with it the development of a considerable interest in the variety of contractual arrangements for Retirement village living. |
